Tom Peck has been pursuing photography for over thirty years. After graduating from the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, he began his career in Vancouver, B.C. in 1972. He continued his photography while being a creative director at major advertising agencies in Toronto, New York City and San Francisco.
Currently he resides, and has his studio, on his ranch in Paso Robles, California.
“I don’t think I shoot in any particular style. I shoot different ideas and execute them in whatever style best expresses that idea. But most importantly, the idea has to embody a fresh perspective, a point of view not seen before. My shooting “style” is manifested in this discipline. Usually, I don’t manipulate my shots in Photoshop or with computer graphics. I prefer to capture an image that is a “real photograph,” meaning, it is a real place in a single moment in time. For me, this is what makes photography exciting and separates it from all other art forms.”
Tom has shot photographic series in Africa, Australia, Canada, Europe, Mexico, The Yukon, New Zealand and most recently, Egypt.
Tom’s work can be found in many private collections and public spaces.

Shooting something in a way that has already been done, is like eating food that someone has already chewed.”
